On 26 October 2026, Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC) participated in the Nairobi launch of Africa’s Road to Prosperity: 10 Things to Know, authored by Jakkie Cilliers and hosted by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) at Mövenpick Hotel, Nairobi.

Representing MRPC was Dr. Solomon Njenga, Deputy CEO and Director of Research and Programmes.

Drawing on decades of research, the book examines ten priorities for African prosperity, highlighting governance, infrastructure, trade and economic transformation as critical areas for policy action.

For MRPC, strategic foresight and evidence-informed policymaking are essential to addressing structural development constraints, strengthening regional economic integration and advancing inclusive prosperity across Eastern Africa.
