Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC), represented by Agnes Maina, participated in the policy dialogue “Democracy in the Age of AI: Kenya’s Policy Agenda for 2027”, held at the Kenya School of Government on 28 October 2026.

The dialogue explored the opportunities and risks of AI in democratic processes, electoral integrity, information security and public participation ahead of Kenya’s 2027 General Election.
