The Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC) Team hosted Brigadier General Zakia Hussein Ahmed, (Former Deputy Police Commissioner in Somalia) alongside Ms. Ikran Abdullahi, Managing Consultant from Envic Research & Consulting and Mr. Bashir Mohamed, Executive Director of Badef Development Foundation on 22nd January 2025 for a consultative meeting at the Centre’s premises.
The meeting explored avenues for collaboration between think tanks in evidence-based research and capacity development to address shared priorities and enhance peace and security in the Horn of Africa.
