Dr John Mwangi, PhD, MPRC Head of Research participated in a conference co-organized by the International Peace Research Association (IPRA) held at MS- TCDC, Arusha. Tanzania (23- 25 May 2024) themed on Ujamaa, Ubuntu, and New Pan Africanisms: The Future of World Peace. He spoke at a panel organized by the African Peace building Network (APN) and the Next Generation Social Sciences in Africa Program titled: Connecting Pan-Africanism to Indigenous Peacebuilding in Africa: Challenges and Prospects. He delivered a paper on navigating traditional institutions in conflict resolution; the evolution of the Njuri Ncheke in Eastern Kenya.
