On 17th – 18th November 2025, Mr. Alfred Eket, Researcher at Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC) participated in the ENACT Review Conference themed “Responding to Organized Crime in Africa: Assessing the Past and the Future” held at Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi Upper Hill. The conference was co-organized by ENACT consortium: Institute for Security Studies (ISS), INTERPOL and Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC). It brought together policy makers, law enforcement and civil society practitioners to deliberate informed interventions that tackle the threat of organized crime in Africa.

The high-level conference showcased key achievements, best practices and sustainable pathways for the ENACT project. MRPC’s participation in the forum highlights the Centre’s alignment to analyzing geopolitical, environmental security and policy issues impacting the Greater Eastern Africa.
