The Mashariki Research and Policy Centre participated in the Horticulture Sector Sustainability & Compliance Forum held on 20th June 2025 at Emara Ole Sereni Hotel, Nairobi. The Centre was represented by Grace Musolo, Communications Officer, at the forum hosted by the Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya (FPEAK) in collaboration with the European Union,
TradeMark Africa, Kenya Flower Council, Fresh Produce Consortium of Kenya, and the Avocado Exporters Association of Kenya.
The forum addressed key themes in the horticulture sector, including environmental sustainability, regulatory compliance, and best practices in social responsibility. We are grateful to the FPEAK team for an engaging and insightful discussion on the horticultural value chain and the shared commitment to fostering strategic partnerships in the agricultural sector.
