From 24th -26th October 2025, Brig (Rtd) Dr. Robert Kabage, PhD, Chief Executive Officer at Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC),participated in the 11th Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa themed ‘Africa in an Evolving Global Order’ held at both Bahir Dar, Avanti Blue Nile Resort and Adwa Victory Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The event was hosted by the Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS) and the Tana Forum Secretariat. The discussions included interactive sessions and policy dialogues on peace and security in the Horn of Africa, bringing together African Heads of State, representatives from regional organizations, youth groups, civil society, the private sector, scholars and practitioners.
MRPC’s participation in this high-level forum underscores the Centre’s commitment to analyzing natural resource conflicts, advancing policy issues on youth inclusion and supporting innovation that shapes Eastern Africa’s security landscape.
