On 30th September 2025, Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC), alongside the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), hosted a delegation from the British High Commission (BHC) in Kenya at its premises. The BHC delegation comprised Mr. Jinal Shah, First Secretary – Political (Domestic), and Mr. Jack de Lacroix, Second Secretary – Political (External/Regional). NCIC was represented by Ms. Murugi Ndwiga, Principal Programme Officer, Peacebuilding and Reconciliation.

The meeting, led by MRPC Chief Executive Officer Brig. (Rtd) Dr. Robert Kabage, PhD, EBS, focused on the development of a Conflict Vulnerability Index (CVI), a strategic tool designed to support peaceful elections in Kenya in 2027.
