The Mashariki Research and Policy Centre team was hosted by Valar Frontier on 4th June 2025 in Nairobi. The meeting brought together Dr. (Rtd) Brig. Robert Kabage, Dr. Solomon Njenga, and Felistus Kandia from MRPC, alongside Dr. Keith Newcomer, Brandon Gough, and William McArthur from Valar Frontier.Discussions explored regional security foresight, grounded field research, and collaboration on issues including Somalia’s insecurity, the Red Sea crisis, and evolving Kenya–U.S. relations.
