Mashariki Research and Policy Centre will attend the African Union Coordination Meeting with Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and Regional Mechanisms (RMs) under the auspices of the African Union Inter-Regional Knowledge Exchange (I-RECKE).

The high-level convention will assess general progress on the implementation of the Youth, Peace and Security agenda, and kick start the joint planning for the regional consultations to assess the progress in the implementing of the Continental Framework on Youth, Peace and Security (CFYPS) at continental, regional and national levels, and its 10-year implementation plan. MRPC will be represented by Research Fellow Agnes Maina.
