Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC) and the National Defence University–Kenya (NDU–K) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding, formalising partnership in research, policy engagement, and capacity development between the two institutions.

Areas of collaboration include establishment of research consortia, joint consultancies, hosting of strategic dialogue forums, publishing, joint project development and bidding, and coordinated dissemination of policy and research outputs.

The partnership aims to advance strategic research, support evidence-based policy development, and contribute to informed responses to evolving security challenges.
