The Policy Dialogue on Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) and Climate Change will bring together key stakeholders from Kenya and Germany to deliberate on the growing nexus between climate change and violent extremism conducive to terrorism.
Co-hosted by the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), in collaboration with key Kenyan and German stakeholders, the dialogue will convene representatives from government institutions, non-governmental organizations, academia, and think tanks at the Mövenpick Residences in Nairobi.
Central to the discussions will be the Nairobi Toolkit on Addressing the Nexus Between Climate Change and Violent Extremism Conducive to Terrorism. The dialogue will provide an important platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and exploring practical approaches to strengthening prevention, resilience and peacebuilding.
