On September 24, 2025, MRPC researcher Alfred Eket represented the Centre at the East Africa Tax Summit and Awards, hosted by Credence Africa at Utalii College under the theme ‘Reimagining Tax: From Enforcement to Engagement.’ Discussions explored expanding the tax base through voluntary compliance, ESG and climate-related taxation, and tackling revenue loss at Kenya’s porous borders. MRPC’s participation underscores our commitment to shaping foresight-driven dialogue at the intersection of taxation, environmental security, and geopolitics in Eastern Africa.
