On 22nd April 2024, Brig (Rtd) Dr. Robert Kabage, PhD, EBS, CEO of Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC) hosted Captain (IN) Velagada Shirdikant Defence Advisor, High Commission of India in Kenya for a consultative meeting at the Centre in Nairobi. In attendance were the MRPC Research and Administrative Team. The meeting delved into insightful discussions focusing on the Centre’s work around strategic and security studies including maritime security, trade, and development.
The meeting also explored potential opportunities for collaborations with the High Commission of India in Kenya and linkages with Indian-based think tanks.
