The Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC) team participated in the Climate Security Mechanism (CSM) Nairobi Partnership Hybrid Dialogue 2024 held on 6 June 24 at the United Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON) and UNEP Headquarters, Gigiri Complex in Nairobi.
Fruitful discussions were held on the nexus between climate change, peace and security by the UN practitioners, member states, regional partners, and research and knowledge partners. MRPC will continue to collaborate with like-minded institutions on climate change initiatives that will promote security, peace and development in Eastern Africa.
