Mashariki Security Journal 2025

The journal is poised to offer a research and knowledge policy exchange platform within the security studies domain. It discusses threats to contemporary peace and security in the region to include; state fragility, transnational threats, elections management, environmental degradation, political economy and identity challenges. It is envisaged to be a critical voice in scholarship that directly contributes to shaping regional issues from a problem- solving perspective. It adopts an interdisciplinary focus, while supporting academic freedoms.
