On October 29, 2024, the Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC) participated in the 21st China Lecture, co-hosted by the Africa Policy Institute and the China-Africa Institute (CAI) from Beijing. The event, held at Serena Hotel in Nairobi, was represented by Felistus Kandia, a Research Fellow at MRPC.
The lecture, themed “Chinese Modernization and China-Africa High-Quality Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative,” provided valuable insights into the evolving dynamics of China-Africa relations. It offered an opportunity to explore how development cooperation between China and Africa is progressing amidst the challenges of an increasingly divided global landscape.
